Partners In Education (PIE): School-to-Home Connection Workshops. These mini workshops were designed by teachers and the school administration to help enable parents to become more versed in assisting their child with school given assignments/projects, at home. The community was invited to participate and attend the mini workshop presentations, created by teachers. Teachers from other schools i.e. the University of Guam, the Guam Public School System, and other private Catholic schools also attended the PIE Workshops.
Teachers will provide parents/guardians with the opportunity to become more involved in their child’s education through the use of a homework folder. Students in the elementary division, are instructed to bring home a folder that contains homework, school notes and/or other school work for parents to review daily, or as needed. Some teachers require their students to have parents sign the folder to ensure that information was disseminated.
